Honoring Elizabeth G. Dolan

Lydia Clay chose Youthentity as the beneficiary of a gift to honor her late mother, Elizabeth G. Dolan, and her commitment to education and youth development. Elizabeth was an active philanthropist - she served on various boards such as the Academy of Natural Sciences and the Women’s Board of Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and helped establish the Philadelphia unit of Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic. She instilled her values of volunteerism and service to others in Lydia:

“I am personally inspired to support Youthentity because the organization gives kids a place where they can grow and learn to believe in themselves. (Youthentity) students find the support and self-confidence they need in order to build a bright future.” Lydia gives the example of Youthentity’s new Engineering & Construction Company as one of the many innovative ideas generated by the organization that is making a unique impact on youth and education.   Lydia’s gift was put towards Youthentity’s reserve fund to support the organization’s impact for years to come.

If you are interested in making a legacy gift and/or contributing to Youthentity’s reserve fund, please email Kris Freeman, Executive Director, or call (970) 963-4055.
