Our Programs
Youthentity delivers career exploration and financial literacy programs to grade school students - from elementary school through high school - throughout 25 of Colorado’s counties.
Career Development Programs
Many students graduate from high school without the necessary skills to succeed in today’s competitive job market. Youthentity programs teach them what is expected in a professional environment—how to meet deadlines, collaborate with others, manage projects, and take initiative. We provide internship-style programs for high school students, as well as hands-on, experiential learning opportunities.
High School Career Development:
Career Academy
Youthentity Career Academies are semester or year-long, for-credit programs which allow students to earn high school credits while exploring careers through one of four tracks:
Construction Technology
Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management
Animal Care
Health Occupations
Students in each track also receive career coaching which includes effective workplace communication, interview skills, resume-building and more. Each student will create a Five Year Life Plan, which outlines certifications, earning potential, cost of living and educational costs associated with several careers.
The goal of our Career Academy program is to help students gain an edge in exploring careers while understanding and mapping out the milestones needed to achieve their dreams.
Financial Literacy Programs
Personal Financial Literacy supplements our career development programs, helping kids understand the basic tenets of financial responsibility, and how those concepts affect their future as empowered adults. Youthentity offers two levels of its financial literacy program I Am Financial Knowledge for grades 5 and 8.
I am Financial KNOWLEDGE
Designed for 5th grade students, IAFK’s Level I program educates kids on the concepts of credit, interest, debt and more. Level II, for 8th grade students, builds on Level I.
