Career Academy applications are OPEN with a new career track!
It’s not too early to begin thinking about the 2020-21 school year. As high school students in the Roaring Fork Valley start to plan class schedules, we’ll offer an additional track through Youthentity Career Academy & YE University. Next year – along with Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management and Structure Design & Building Industry - Career Academy will also offer Animal & Human Health Services. Health care - for both people and animals - is a huge industry with enormous potential right here in our valley, and we aim to show students the possibilities through our pilot program.
Open to juniors, seniors and sophomores (by exception), Career Academy helps students get a head start on their futures with the opportunity to earn high school class credits while exploring different careers and industries that match their interests. They also receive hands-on experience and learn real-world skills.
