ProStart Competition is BACK!

It's official - Youthentity will compete in the 2022 ProStart Regional Competition! Four of our culinary arts students have joined the ProStart team, and will compete at the Regional event in Denver on February 24th. This annual competition has taken a two-year hiatus, and we're excited to introduce our culinary students to this exciting and educational experience.

What is ProStart?
Currently serving hundreds of students at 40 high schools across the state, Colorado ProStart is a high school hospitality education program and curriculum which helps students gain experience in restaurant/hospitality management, culinary arts, and business economics while providing high school and college academic credit, scholarships, and a paid work experience opportunities.

Why competition is important:
We feel that competition teaches our students what they are capable of as they work under pressure in a team setting. Competition also provides the opportunity to win scholarships! Through ProStart competitions, our students have earned

For the next two months our students will put in extra hours to craft menus, practice nuanced cooking and baking, and perfect their culinary presentation. We're looking forward to supporting them in their ProStart journey.
