How did Glenwood Insurance initially become involved with Youthentity? 

“We became involved back when you were Computers for Kids, by donating our excess equipment. It was a great idea - and now look what you do for the youth in our valley today.  We very much like to help with local charities, and especially ones that provide a service to our youth. We know that (Youthentity Executive Director) Kirsten does such a good job with whatever we help with, and know it is going to a good cause.”       

What about Youthentity’s mission resonates with you? 

We love that you figure out how to pique the interest of the youth with different programs, and at the same time are developing potentially great employees through your career training program, Career Academy.

Why do you think Youthentity’s financial literacy and career exploration programs are impactful for today’s youth and our community? 

Both are great ideas which are not taught in our classrooms today, and making it fun for kids is a major plus.

Why should other local businesses consider supporting Youthentity and its programs? 

So many businesses benefit from Youthentity’s youth services and career training, though they might not realize it. It would be fun to know how many former students are working in our valley who went through Youthentity programs!
